The fixtures for the 2024/2025 Betway Premiership have been unveiled following a draft communiqué sent to PSL clubs for approval.
On Wednesday, PSL Chairman Dr. Irvin Khoza confirmed that Betway has taken over from DStv as the title sponsor of the Premiership in a deal valued at R900 million.
Dr. Khoza also noted that domestic football will resume on August 3, marking the start of the MTN8 tournament.
PSL 2024/2025 Betway Premiership Fixtures
The Betway Premiership kicks off on 14 September with several exciting matches lined up. Here’s the schedule:
14 September (Saturday)

- Mamelodi Sundowns vs. SuperSport United at Loftus Versfeld
- Royal AM vs. Cape Town City at Harry Gwala Stadium
- 17:30
- Orlando Pirates vs. Chippa United at Orlando Stadium
- Marumo Gallants vs. Kaizer Chiefs at Toyota Stadium
- 20:00
- Polokwane City vs. AmaZulu FC at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium
- Sekhukhune United vs. Magesi FC at New Peter Mokaba Stadium

Alternative Kickoff Dates
To accommodate the CAF interclub competition second preliminary rounds, some fixtures have alternative kickoff dates:
- Sundowns, Sekhukhune, Pirates, and Stellenbosch may play their first games on either 17 or 18 September.
